About Marantha

Maranatha is a word taken directly from the bible in 1 Cor. 16:22. That word is translated in the NLT as “Our Lord, come!”

The expression “Our Lord, come!” is “Maranatha!” in the original text. It is alternately translated “He comes” or “The Lord is coming”. It was a greeting that the early church used when meeting each other.

It was a way of reminding the saints that Jesus Christ will return and that return is eminent. Maranatha!
